What is worship, and why is it so important?

Simply stated, worship is God’s revelation to us and our response to Him. It takes many forms, such as singing, prayer, devotional time, service, and giving thanks. It is something that is supposed to take place on an ongoing basis, moment by moment, day by day, between a loving God and His redeemed people.

Jesus calls us to worship God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength (Mark 12:30).

Guest worship leader Amy Shreve!

Amy grew up in Florida where she discovered the harp and her faith in Jesus. She found that to be a songwriter and harpist was very unique. After graduating from Wheaton College Amy moved to Nashville and within 3 months she had a publishing and recording contract. Her first record "Peace In The Puzzle" was distributed worldwide by Capitol Records. Through the years Amy has recorded 13 records for 7 different record companies. Currently Amy is touring with her husband Gary Wixtrom sharing their hope and trust in Christ.  more info =>

Worship Ministry Opportunities:

Worship Teams
Music teams leading congregational worship in music for Sunday morning services.

Tech Team
Technical crew handling all of the “behind the scenes” technology for Sunday morning services and special events.

Drama Team
Presentation of sermon illustration skits or plays for Sunday morning services and special events.

Creative Team
Conceptualize, design, create, and implement visual/graphic themes for sermon series.  Graphic representation to be displayed and coordinated in website, newsletter, church décor, sermon PowerPoint, etc.
