We are pleased to offer ministries and groups of support and self-help for people dealing with issues concerning divorce, recovery concerning harmful habits, hurts and personal hang-ups, and hope for those who are physically hurting. These groups/sessions take place at various times.

DivorceCare is available for those wanting healing from the issues surrounding divorce.

GriefShare is a weekly support group designed to provide support and encouragement for people grieving the death of a loved one. The loss of a close loved one can be devastating, but having someone to help you through the grieving process can make all the difference. Everyone is touched by grief at some point in their life and GriefShare is here to help you through that tough time.

GriefShare is a 13-session, video-driven seminar format that features some of the nation’s foremost experts on grief recovery topics. Each two-hour session is combined with a discussion time to allow group participants to discuss the video content and how they are dealing with the loss of their loved one.

Faith Baptist Church of Peshtigo will begin a new GriefShare session Sept 13, 2010. The program will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. each Monday evening in the Church Study. A special “Surviving the Holidays” Workshop will be held Sunday, Oct 24, 2010 at 2 p.m.

Overcomer’s Outreach - Whatever your need, you can find the extra care and encouragement necessary to grow beyond the wounds of life's battles, the difficulties in family relationships, the bondage of addictive habits and behaviors, and the isolation caused by shame. Overcomer’s Outreach is a group designed to help fill you with the faith, hope, and love that only God can provide through Christ.  This group is a support group and a sharing group, not a therapy group.   We utilize the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous along with Scriptures. and declare freely that the only "higher power" is God, the Son, Jesus Christ.  Don’t be surprised if this group evolves into a close family relationship where truth is shared, and where God's power can freely heal the brokenness in our lives.
