Need Help Listening
to the Sunday Messages
These files are compressed in MP3 format, but
will still take some time to download if using a dial-up modem (about 30
minutes). Faster connections such as DSL or cable will of course result
in much faster downloads. You will also need to have a Flash Player
installed on your computer to use online player.
Subscribing to our Podcasts: There are
basically two methods of listening to the Podcast depending on what
program you are using. Ether drag the "Podcast" link on to our open
player, such as iTunes, or copy and past the link in to your player.
Downloading Instructions: Right mouse click on
the hyperlink for the sermon and select 'Save Target As' (Windows).
Then select a location on your hard drive and downloading of the mp3
file will begin. When the download is complete, go to the folder you
downloaded the message to and double click on it. This will start the
application that is associated with playing mp3 audio files. By
downloading the file to hard drive, you avoid having buffer issues and
also any delays in playback should your connection be to slow.
Sound/Volume too low? There are several places
on your computer to adjust the volume. First, on the player itself and
is usual located in an obvious location. Second, is your computer's
built in sound/volume control (usually just access this from the speaker
icon in the lower right hand corner of your computer) (click once on
this icon to see the volume control). Lastly, you can adjust your
volume on your speakers themselves. Not all speakers have this, but
many will (amplified speakers) have a volume knob.
If downloading the files to your computer you
will need an audio program to listen to the messages. There are several
players that will work such as
WinAmp,
Windows Media Player,
Apple iTunes,
or any other MP3 player.
If you still cannot download the files, then it
may be a browser issue. Download the latest version of
Internet
Explorer or
Mozilla Firefox.
