Suggested Scripture Reading

"All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof,
for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate,
equipped for every good work."  2 Timothy 3:16 NASB

Every word of the Bible in its original language is breathed from the very mouth of God.  By spending time reading and studying this inspired Book, we see a glimpse of Who God is, who we are in light of the Creator, and how we are to live in relation to Him and to the rest of His creation.  The only way we can continue to get to know our Heavenly Father is to read and study Scripture.  And as we do so, He gives us all we need to accomplish what He tells us in Scripture that we are to do.

This page is designed to give you guidance as you spend time reading Scripture.  By following the suggested readings for each day (found at www.backtothebible.org), you will have read through the entire Bible in one year.  Each day has a reading from both the Old and the New Testament, beginning in January with Genesis and Matthew.  Click on each month to view the appropriate readings to guide you over the course of the year:
